Shadow copy

Need a little more info but if you are using a laserjet printer shadows or duplicate images usually come from worn out rollers in your fuser. Depending on your model fusers are available by themselves or as part of a maintenance kit. Replace the fuser and that should take care of the problem.

Alignment is not the issue with my printer... i keep getting a shadow behind my letters and images I print, but not on typed documents... only scanned ones or copied and pasted images into word... so...

The shadows are common from scanned images. You might want to hold the book you are trying to scan in a better angle so that the scanner can read it more clearly. Then your scans won't have that many shadows.

Tv is showing shadow images

You have defective convergence. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4220499-change_projection_tv_convergence_ics which explains the problem, how to fix it and where to get the parts. Let me know if you need more help.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the generous rating.

The black print jobs have a shadow about 3 inches down the page

I had replaced the fuser - no improvement. I removed the fuser, imaging unit & transfer roller. CAREFULLY using a vacuum cleaner I cleaned all units and the internals of the printer, rotating the roller on the imaging unit to clean all parts. (Warning Place Imaging unit on paper as toner escapes) After a few test prints the page cleared and duplicate ghosting cleared.

Image has duplicate shadow

There should be different HDMI slots on the back of that TV. Switch you HDMI cable to use another slot. Change to that HDMI slot on your TV menu. Sometimes the ports go bad, or there is something messing with the signal.

The HDMI can carry sound and video. Make sure that in your tv menu that your tv is setup under audio has the receive audio from hdmi as well.

Duplicate image in pink displays on the screen.

From your description, it sounds like an alignment problem. There are 3 LCD panels in the projector. Each one displays an exact duplicate image of the others except it's either red, green, or blue. Under normal conditions, the images precisely overlay one another so you get a sharp image. Due to age, heat, or vibration/shock(impact) it would appear that the red LCD panel has shifted a little, giving the "ghosting" effect. You'll have to have the unit repaired by a qualified tech. He'll have the special electronic equipment needed to align the panels properly. Before sending the unit in, try a reset in the menu. Sometimes, the projectors can shift the image electronically, using math algorithms which will try to auto-sharpen the display. Hope I was able to help!---Rick

Tv duplicate image

your guns are off and need to be adjusted. your 3 guns (red, green and blue) are off and that would explain the funny colors and shadows. Have a tv tech come out and have a look, they can fix it for a reasonable price.

Printouts with shadow

Two things - Fuser or cartridge - stop print halfway in machine, if fault occurs before paper has gone threw the fuser then it is a faulty cartridge, if print is ok before fuser (the hot bit at rear) but gets doubled up after fuser then the hear roller in fuser are faulty change fuser....but 95 % of the time it is due to dodgy refill cartridge or worn cartridge (the rubber blade inside cartridge fails to apply enough pressure against drum to clean away old image  hence duplicating itself onto your nice clean paper! Try a known good cartridge if in doubt..
