If the AC power cord is the problem. you can just buy that from any computer store but if the problem is inside of the laptops charging circuit it the mainboard of the laptop needs to replaced. you can call HP for parts replacements.thanks

I can't seem to use the microwave function on my Panasonic Grill and Convection Microwave Oven NN-C784MF. It turns on and spinning but doesn't microwave.

hi,

they used to have inline fuses on the microwave circuits. open it up and check for inline glass fuses on the board and inline to the magnetron primary circuits, use caution theres a capacitor with a stored charge in the secondary circuit.

I just bought a new battery for my toshiba computer it wont charge. i put this battery in another computer like mine and it did charge whats wrong with my computer?

The charging circuit is the problem and unfortunately it is built into the motherboard making it difficult to address, unless it is an easy fix the motherboard may have to be replaced. Check to make sure the battery contacts are clean.

I would not attempt any repairs, return this if it is under warranty, there is a fault with the battery, the charger, or the charging/power circuit

I have a broken lcd at my EeePC asus 1000ha, I bought a new lcd but I don't know how to change it. I need a scheme or some steps to do that. Thank you

Points you will require

a little phillips head Screw driver

several little cups or containers (for that numerous screws in your laptop computer)

a little flat head screw driver (for that plastic material clips about the best bezel)

along with a Replacement display ( probably the most costly component, but should you appear in craigslist you are able to obtain a damaged laptop computer having a functioning display pretty simple and substitute your damaged device using the functioning components through the other damaged laptop computer)

or you are able to go via your laptop computer producer to purchase a brand new display. (generally not inexpensive)

1 a lot more note. by perfoming these actions you'll be voiding your guarantee assuming you've any left about the device. if you need to do use a guarantee about the device, just deliver it out towards the Depot and get it fixed for free of charge.

if you've no a lot more guarantee then overlook the above and get prepared to get our hands filthy =D the laptops currently damaged any way what a lot more can you need to do to it =P

also, prior to touching any circuits or any point its great to ground your self to dispel any static electrical power you might have on you. so contact some bare metal Or if you've it pull out your anti static strap and make great use of it.

I bought a notebook and it works fine on a/c power, but the battery is at 0% and no matter how long I leave it on charge it will not move from this. Have had the battery replaced by store I bought it from,...

Sounds to me like the charging circuit is fried but the power circuit to the motherboard is intact . It is a motherboard problem or a circuit in the power structure.

AT&T E250 2.4Ghz Expansion Handset won't charge.

I posted the fix to you on 6/13/2009. The fix was to replace the transistor in the charging path inside of the telephone. I had another phone that I had dropped and the display didn't work. The charging circuit still functioned. I took the transistor off the broken phone and put on new non-charging phone. It fixed just fine. Although I already posted the fix to this site, here it is again:

Charging pro

I believe the cable is the charger. I have an e250 which charges from the computer. Simply connect the player to the computer using the cable, and when the player is detected by the computer - it is charging!

My friend have a different charger though, but she bought it from the store.

Capacitors problem

Capacitors have many functions depending upon the circuit. Perhaps the most common circuit where a bad cap will be a major problem is the power supply. Since these store charges, they are used to smooth out the DC current generated from AC power. If there is noise or ripple in the DC current, it can be interpreted as a signal and processed as such. This is just one example. There are hundreds more.
