The thermal fuse is a cheap one use part. It is located inside the front of the cabinet, right in the middle. It is about 4 inches long, and looks like a black rubber tube with a wire on each side of it. This is something that you can replace yourself. Parts are easy to find for this model.
When the part is replaced , make sure you take the time to find out why the part failed. The thermal fuse is meant to be a safeguard to ensure that the flames are not out of control. Sometimes they do just fail, by typically there is a reason when they go out. Make sure gas and air supply is correct, and the burner tray is unobstructed. If there has been high wind in your area, this could have been the cause of the failure.

Part number from manufacturer is: 075173 and should cost between 15-20 dollars US.

The Patton Floor Fan I have quit working when a shirt was sucked into it and no-one was home. I am wondering if they have a fuse on the motor that can be replaced?

Most have a one-time thermal fuse wired into the motor. You would have to remove cage and fan blade, unscrew motor mounts, open motor casing, locate fuse by cutting open or sliding off the thermal sleeves, cut fuse out and resolder a new thermal fuse in. Should be able to locate replacement thermal fuse online. Can also just splice ends together but then you lose thermal protection and a fire can result. It is a good temporary fix to diagnose if you have burnt out one of the motor coils.

Open up the front panel on the heater you will see 2 white wires going to the thermal fuse, pull both leads off the thermal fuse ,take a jumper wire and connect it between the two wires . Does the fan come on ? if so remove the jumper, if not put the leads back on the thermal fuse and remove the thermostat panel on the top of the heater on the right side there will be 2 screws on the bottom of the panel remove them and pull the panel up and out of the way as much as possible look inside to top right in about the middle of the heater you will see 2 white wires going to a switch (overheat switch) with a red button in the middle, push on that button and reset it, if the fan still does not come on take your jumper wire and put it between the 2 white wires on the overheat switch does the fan come on? If it does great but don't leave the jumper in , remove it and put in a new overheat switch ,but that only fixes the switch because there is still a problem of why that happened. First thing is to check the heat exchanger for soot build up or a blocked exhaust fan and check your gas pressure my guess is it is low. But do not run that heater with any bypass jumpers in or your asking for a fire .

Error code e03

This is a code for a thermal fuse open. A thermal fuse is a saftey device I always call a wax switch, It's a switch held closed by wax and if it get's too hot the wax melts and the switch opens shuting the heater down.
Changing this out will not fix the problem. It's job is to keep the heat source from hurting the heater. In other words you have fire backing up into the heater outside the fire box. This can be a fan problem or sometyhing as bad as a broken firebox. You will probally need to get a repairman involved at least to find the problem. Good luck.

Roper Gas Dryer

The first thing I would check is the thermal fuse (#6 on the bulkhead parts break down diagram). Replace if it's open.
Also, the manufacturer recommended to replace the cycling thermostat (#8 on the bulkhead parts break down diagram) too if the thermal fuse is open.

- The part number for the thermal fuse AP3132867

- The part number for the cycling thermostat AP3131939

- Here are the break down diagrams for the Roper dryer Model RGX4634KQ2
