Question about Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8000 Printer
You can solve this error code by removing the purge unit (take care of the ink).
Then you have to turn upside down the unit to check the gears. There is a white gear that moves in the ''air''. you have to re adjust the gear to transfer the move normally.
Then the problem dissapears.
Also you have to check if the motor is still moving.

I received the same error message and after I replaced the purge unit the error message went away. Replacing the purge unit will also help fix 2F22, well it did for my plotter.

That error refers to a purge motor failure. which could explain why the printer is saying that you do not have enough ink. I would recommend contacting canon or the reseller that you bought the printer from.
