No range on remote to car - Ferrari Remote Control Enzo Fxx Car Rc Cars 1:10

It depends on many things - mostly the range of the system itself and especially where you located the remote antenna. Some installers don't use the antenna and that will limit range severely. Most manufacturers want the antenna routed up the windshield pillar and mounted near the top of the windshield glass. This gives best reception since glass does not hinder the RF signal. OF course, a weak battery in the remote can cause range issues as well.

1. make sure battery is inserted correctly.
2. Do you have 2 remotes? Are they both exhibiting short range? Maybe bad remote if 1 is OK and the other is not.
3. Try this to extend range: hold remote under your chin and touching your chin while pressing the button. Your head acts as an antenna to extend the range.

Range should be at least 25 feet. Sounds like a weak transmitter in the remote. Are you SURE the batteries in the remote are fresh?

the antenna could be loose either on the transmitter from your vehicle or the antenna on your remote.

Maybe the battery in remote is low or the remote itself may be limited in range. I installed an alarm system to an older truck.
It came with 2 remotes and one of them had a range of 10 feet
even with a new battery.

Background
Under certain circumstances the remote control receiver, which is located in the CIM, may cease to function. The software in the column integration module (CIM) must be updated so that the remote control operation achieves full functionality.
In the case of customer complaint the following procedures must be carried out.
Symptom description
The car cannot be locked or unlocked using the remote control.
Procedure
Before any action is taken, check if the deficient functionality of the remote control receiver is due to incorrect software:
^ Check if the fault is due to the loss of synchronisation between the remote control and the car.
- Insert the key into the ignition for at least 2 seconds.
- Does the remote control work?
YES: Updating the software, in accordance with this TSB, does not rectify the fault.
NO: Continue to check as follows
^ Remove fuse F2 from the dashboard electrical centre. Wait for at least 5 seconds.
^ Fit fuse F2.
^ Does the remote control work?
NO: Updating the software, in accordance with this TSB, does not rectify the fault.
YES: Update the software in the CIM.

To remote start the vehicle, press and release button on remote twice within two seconds. You can turn off the remote stater the same way.

have you changed the battery inside the remote yet?

Try changing the battery in the key fog. If that doesn't work you can try finding an aftermarket key fog with a greater range. It is probably just default range.
