SOURCE: i need to unlock my

Hi.

On Panasonic DMP-BD60 you can unlock to free region only the DVDs. The blu ray disks can be unlocked only by replacing the chip. You will need the original remote to use the hack.

Here the hack:
FOR PANASONIC
1. Use the remote that came with the player to bring the player out of standby, make sure there isn't a disc in it.
2. Press the Activity button "Panasonic" and the remote will send the 10 hack commands in sequence.
3. If all works ok the blue ray player will reboot
When its finished it will not actually tell you its region free, just simply try it with different region DVDs.

Here the source.

Regards.

Ginko.

SOURCE: Hi, i need to know

Hello,

unfortunately, there is no free region code for your
panasonic DMP BD60 Blu ray player.

Why don't you purchase a Panasonic Blu ray player that is region free, I mean a player that would play any/all discs irrespective of its region. There are such player around.

You can just go for that instead of looking for free region code that is not available.

Good luck.

Got the error code upd ng on my DMP-BD60.....tried to upgrade firmware

Were you upgrading it over the network from the player? If you had network problems you can also download it to your computer nd burn it to a CD. then insert the CD into your player. Need codes for all regions on Panasonic DMP-BD60

Hi, I don't think there are any codes, it has to be modified by inserting a chip, and unless you know about electronics or soldering, I would either find a friend or take it to a competent repair shop, because if it is done wrong , you will have a bricked dvd player.
Here is a link that shows you what to do.

Please read it carefully.

I think this is the only way.

I hope this helps you, let me know.

How do i get my Panasonic DMP-BD60 to work...it only turns on for a second and read hello then goes off???

Regarding the Panasonic DMP-BD60, I had the exact same problem, but I also had a disc stuck inside at the time. I called Panasonic tech support and this is what solved the problem for me.
Near the bottom of the remote control is a series of colored buttons marked R, G, B, & Y. Locate the OK button, and press it together with the B & Y buttons, hold for 10 seconds.
All of a sudden, my unit came back to life and everything is working fine. We are happy now.
