Question about GPS
I own a My Guide 3000 GPS System. It was given to me as a Christmas present in 2007. One day I was playing a game on it, I don't remember which game it was, and I turned it off without exiting out of the game. Then when I turned it back on, the main menu did not appear. Instead, it went straight to the menu that has the options Multimedia and Settings. Now every time I turn it on it goes straight to that menu. I have tried a hard reset. I've tried taking the SM Card out of it. I've tried pushing the Main Menu button. I've tried touching all four corners, but none of them will get you back to the main menu. I've gone to Music, Pictures, and Movies, all of them, and pushed the X which is supposed to take you back to the main menu, but instead it took me back to the same menu with Multimedia and Settings. Everything I've tried has not worked. The navigation part consisting of the Cockpit and Maps area worked just fine until I started playing that game. What do I need to do to fix it in order for it to go back to the Main Menu?
It's the same menu but the pna thinks the sd isn't in, so it hides those buttons. u should get to sd card to your computer and look at addons.txt. that contains information about the menus, and if that looks alright(
Games = "icons/games.bmp", "", 0
Navigate = "", "\\Flash Disk\\myguide\\myguide.exe"), then u should go to windows explorer. when it boots, after u hear the noise, notice a black square appearing in the left corner, "click" and hold until u see the a menu close to that when u right click your computer's desktop(if it's windows). click new folder and keep touching the desktop for the next ten seconds, so the "main menu" won't appear. then enter the new folder and windows explorer will launch, click the address bar and erase what's there and type \ then press enter. it will go to my computer. go to flash disk (which is the internal rom) and click igo launch. that should launch the navigation software.
