Question about Cameras
Make sure the battery terminals inside the camera are clean, and free of oxidation. Use a qtip and alcohol or a pencil eraser to clean them.
Here is a web blog for power problems with digital cameras, and details things you can try to get them working again:
You could have a bad shutter button also, and you would have to open up the camera to see what's going on.
If you still can't figure it out, take it into a camera repair shop and get an estimate. Sometimes it's just better to go ahead and get a new one, than having the old one repaired.
Good luck, and hope this helps.
