SOURCE: ge profile refrigerator slow water dispenser

you have a seperate valve for ice maker and water dispenser, though it is possible both could have debris preventing proper water flow, i would check the water pressure you have going into the valve solenoid housing. turn off water to fridge, disconnect the line at the fridge, not in basement at saddle valve. place end of tube in bucket, turn on water. how is pressure? good or slow? if its good, then you probably do need to replace valve solenoid housing. You can NOT clear debris out of these, they must be replaced.
If your water pressure is still not good, either y ou have a kink in plastic water line. Despite having changed saddle valve in basement, if the stem of saddle valve is mounted on bottom half of pipe, debris from pipe is getting into water line and so on. Water keeps running and the ice maker isn't making ice

The ice maker will not make ice with the water running in contently this keeps the water temp to high. Turn machine off, cut water supply off to machine, remove water inlet valve, ether take valve apart and rebuild it or replace the water inlet valve. Reassemble in reverse order and machine should make ice.

MY GE MONOGRAM ZIS420D FREZZER IS NOT MAING ANY ICE. WHAT SHOULD I DO

check for continuity on the ice maker water fill solenoid valve in the lower rear area of the refrigerator, then remove cover from front of ice maker, and there are 2 gears inside this cover, follow the instructions on the ice maker by this gear and turn it the way it tells you to,this will initiate a manual ice production, you will see the gears turn by themselves after you help turn these gears initially, then you should see water enter from fill tube in the back of the ice maker if the fill tube isnt froze over,if no ice production occurs the ice maker thermostat could be open(bad) or if it makes ice but doesn't push it out the heater below the maker may be open(bad)

The ice maker container is filling up with water and freezes solid

You may have a defective or stuck float switch. Check in your water reservoir located in the back of the unit below the cutter/maker section. there should be a trough with a circulating pump in it and an incoming water supply with a float switch.
I can't find it in the parts diagram to be 100% certain, so here's a tip- If you find the water inlet valve (that you hook the water supply to) follow the wires that connect to that. The wires have to run through the float switch.
Good luck!

GE side by side. When ice maker tries to refill water is going everywhere except in the ice tray. Removed ice maker but saw no problem with it. Any hints of what to look for?

Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn’t take much to eventually block the fill tube.

Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn’t take much to eventually block the fill tube.
The valve can leak because of sediment in the water preventing it from closing or low water pressure.
If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.

If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

So the dispenser is getting water. Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.
