Question about Samsung LN-R2050 20 in. LCD Television
Brand new TVm just out of the oox but the buttons on the left side of the monitor don't do anything. Shouldn't they work just work? Have to use the remote to turn tv on and off. Manual doesn't address this. Do I need to flip a switch or something to activate these?
You may have to enable them within the menu as these type of TV's are often used in Hotels and Hospitals and what not. Disabling the buttons on the TV prevents customers from messing with the settings of the tv and allows the business to use whatever custom remote they prefer. Check the on screen menu and look carefully through the options, you should find it there.
