Question about Toshiba Televison & Video
The first thing to do would be eliminate the possibility of stray IR signals. Do you have a microwave or some thing close to the set? If yes then please move it to a different location. If not then take an insulation tape and cover the IR sensor at the front with a couple of layers. Take out the batteries from the remote and turn on the tv. This will help us rule out any external sources causing the problem.
