Usually there are some screws that hold it in. Open door and look on each side top and bottom.

Whirlpool gold single oven - YGBS277PDB7 - The power failure signal has started to show up during cooking and everything shuts down even though there is power. what part would need replacing?

Turn the breaker off before you start. To isolate this your going to need to remove the oven from the wall. Once done, you'll need to remove the top of the oven so you can see down inside of it. Starting at where the wires come into the machine, you're going to trace the wiring to each of the parts in series. These parts include the thermal fuse, lock mechanism, wiring, etc.

Oven does not heat up.

You will probably find that it is the oven element that has failed.
This is to be found at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
Hope this helps.

No heat to the oven

if the heating element "rod" doesn't turn orange (hot) when it's on it's bad so; remove the heating element and get a new one from an appliance parts site on the web and install it don't forget to unplug the range first!
