Some jerry can threads fit, some dont ! I am about to try using a 500mm x 28mm outside diameter PVC tubing that snugly inserts into the inlet of the pump. The idea is that you just drop in the tubing and it sucks it up out of the jerry can. Or you can use irrigation fittings to make up an adaptor between the jerry can and the pump.

Where is the water pump located on a 2013 chevrolet malibu lt

The water pump is located on the passenger side, up towards the front on the side of the engine. easiest way to find is to follow the hoses from the radiator to the pump which will have a pulley attached to it.

Removing 380 rear brake light

The Aussie-built Mitsubishi 380 sedan rear light assemblies are removed as follows:

Remove inside boot (trunk) lining behind the light assembly to expose two 10mm nuts with captive washers and (deeper towards the outside of the vehicleA) two plastic lugs.

Unscrew the two 10mm nuts.
Gently prise the light assembly straight back from the rear of the car. This requires some effort. The plastic lugs remain embedded in the sheet metal while notched mating two steel pins remain attached to the light assembly.

The bulb holders are removed by a partial turn anticlockwise (looking at the holder from the top).

Have a Soleus LX-140 portable air conditioner. Water was leaking out the right side of the machine. Opened the casing and found a clear hose, one end attached to the plastic tray above the condenser and...

I have an LX-100, and had the same problem, so I am guessing that the designs are similar. There should be a pump in the condensate pan at the bottom of the unit -- on mine, it was near the front, right next to the overflow float switch. There should be an outlet on top of the pump, which is where the hose needs to be attached.

It looks like the pump pushes condensate up into that plastic tray, which lets if flow over the heat exchanger, both cooling it and evaporating the water. With the hose detached, you're probably noticing degraded cooling performance and a lot more condensate in the holding tank than there should be. At least, that was the case for me. Good luck.

How do you replace water pump?

Assuming this is a 460 Ford Big Block:

REMOVAL

-Drain cooling system.
-Remove drive belts.
-Remove bolts attaching fan shroud to radiator.
-Remove fan blade from fan clutch and remove fan shroud.
-Remove fan clutch and water pump pulley from water pump.
-Remove four bolts and one nut attaching A/C compressor mounting bracket to cylinder head and water pump. Do not remove A/C compressor or power steering pump from A/C compressor mounting bracket.
-Pull A/C compressor mounting bracket forward to remove from stud on water pump.
-Remove bolt attaching generator adjusting arm to water pump. Remove four bolts attaching generator mounting bracket to cylinder head, cylinder block and water pump.
-Remove remaining water pump attaching bolts and remove water pump from engine front cover.
-Remove water pump cover from water pump. Discard water pump housing gasket and water pump cover gasket.
INSTALLATION
-Remove any gasket material from water pump cylinder front cover and separator plate mating surfaces.
-Position new water pump housing gasket and water pump cover gasket coated on both sides with Perfect Seal Sealing Compound B5A-19554-A or equivalent water-resistant sealer meeting Ford specification ESE-M4G115-A.
-Position water pump and water pump cover onto engine front cover. Install bolts and tighten to16-24 Nm (12-18 ft. lbs.).
-Install generator mounting bracket to cylinder head, cylinder block and water pump with four attaching bolts. Install generator adjusting arm to water pump with one attaching bolt. Tighten 7/16-inch bolts to 54-71 Nm (40-53 ft. lbs.) and 3/8-inch bolts to 41-54 Nm (30-40 ft. lbs.).
-Position A/C compressor mounting bracket over water pump stud and secure to cylinder head with four bolts tightened to 54-71 Nm (40-53 ft. lbs.) and secure nut to water pump to 41-54 Nm (30-40 ft. lbs.).
-Install water pump pulley and fan clutch to water pump hub with four bolts. Install fan blade to fan clutch with four bolts. Tighten water pump pulley, fan clutch hub bolts, and fan-to-fan clutch hub bolts to 16-24 Nm (12-18 ft. lbs.). Install fan shroud.
-Install drive belts.
-Fill and bleed the cooling system.
-Start the engine and check for leaks

Power washer starts, water to washer on but no water pressure come out the hose

this with the engine running? If so there eigther is a restriction in the main water feed or the pump is damaged or possibly needs to be rebuilt. Did you know you can never start the mechine with the water hooked up and on full and you should trigger the gun to force the air from the water pump before you ever start the engine. Is it a mi-t-m pump or a cat pump. The mi-t-m pumps have a problem with the plastic cages that hold the valves braking and getting stuck between the valve and the valve seat if you take the caps off the pump you can pull the peice out and the mechine will work again. The cat pumps have cremic pistion and if over heater need to be rebuilt but is a vastly better pump and if maintained wil last 25 to 30 years under heavy use

It's draining water out of the bottom of the machine. I can't even get the bottom panel off of the machine.

If built as most, access to the innards will be through the back of the machine.
Remove the AC plug, disconnect hoses and drop them into a bucket or similar, remove the lower back panel.
The leak is with fair certainty from failed seals on the pump. Most pumps are a cheap, milky plastic, housing and this will need to be replaced. you can easily identify it by following hoses. There is a remote possibility that the water control valve assembly is cracked so once open, check the area (and valve) where the hoses are attached in the rear of the machine.
If you have a Johnstone Supply outlet in your area, you can save 1/3 - 1/2 of the dealer's cost buying through them. They call themselves 'wholesale' but they have never refused my business. Have your make and model number in hand when you call and they can tell you if available (rarely not) and how much. I expect the cost will be <$25 US.
Difficulty of replacement varies by machine but does not require a college degree.

Need to find lpg jets for 6 burner aussie roaster bbq. (the australian barbeque company) Bbq roughly 6 years old.

BBQs Galore sell these in their DIY section (Aussie Roaster is no longer sold at BBQ Galore, but the burner component is a standard fit). If you have an Aussie Roaster remember there is a bobbypin on the underside of the burner locking the back end of the burner in place, a few smacks with a little hammer will push this out so the old burner can be pulled out and new burners can be put in place.
