Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do I get the correct date to show for each picture taken?

Provided your camera's date has been configured correctly, all pictures taken can be arranged by date in your computer.

No correct time and date

The manual, does not say a thing about date and time, so my guess is only when transfered to the computer time and date is added.
I sometimes use a GPS, that when not connected to enough satelites prints an old date and wrong time to the pictures. I do correct that with a programm called "EXIF Date Changer" because after some time you never will know the correct date, because you forgot the GPS receiver messed things up.

I have a new 27 imac

I would suggest that the problem is not your imac but the camera have you checked the date is correct on your camera. The imac takes the date as far as I understand it from the Exif data on the picture which is written by the camera.

I TOOK PICTURES AND THE DATE WAS NOT SET CORRECTLY NOW THE STAMP ON THE PICTURE HAS THE WRONG DATE HOW DO I CORRECT IT ... I DO NOT WAS TO PRINT ANY OF THESE WITH WRONG DATES PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!

You cannot change the dates on the taken photos using the camera.
Copy the pictures to your PC, and use a graphic editor to put the new date.
It is a very difficult task to change the date displayed. Therefore insert a button-like graphic on top of the date and put the correct date over that.

Have photos taken with a Nikon CoolPix that have the wrong date on them. I need to remove the incorrect date and add the correct date stamp, can this be done with the software that came with the camera?

Not easily. Once the date stamp is on the picture, those pixels are the same as any other pixel. You can edit the photos using photo editing software, the same way you might replace one person's face with another's.

Setting date and time on photo

As long as the current date and time are set correctly, the camera will always store the date with the picture. If you want to print the date with the picture, please refer to the documentation for whatever program you're using for instructions.

Can't get the Date off the Pictures

First you have to go to the set up menu and set the correct time and date, then you can go back to the settings and select OFF for time and date. If you do not set the correct time and date , that default date stays in the picture.

Hi can you please tell me something in relation to my camera. I have a Panasonic DMC LX2 digital camera and I would like to know how to set the date to be used whilst I'm taking photo's, so when I go to...

The clock-setting instructions are on page 20 of the manual.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
