SOURCE: Hoover washing machine (commodore 5.0 kg)

this is either a belt slip or a squeeling bearing ater seal, if it is not the belt then try doing a boil wash, this often resolves the problem. Regards Advisor

SOURCE: wash enhance & on/off flashing

The only time the lights kept flashing on my Hotpoint machine was when the outflow pipe going into the ubend was blocked,

Check for blockages, but make sure that you have a bucket or pan ready to collect the water flow.

I hope this helps

SOURCE: Hoover HNL7166 'Start Delay' light flashing

Hoover (Nextra series) washing machines

The 'Start' & 'Pause' LED's will flash together to indicate the error code. You have to count the flashes within each 15 second period to get that error code. The start and the pause LED's will flash together at 1Hz (i.e 1 flash per second) within that 15 second time frame, then will continue and show again within another 15secs and so on.

1 Flash = Interlock fault
2 Flashes = Fill time-out
3 flashes = Drain time-out
4 flashes = Overfill fault presure pipe blocked
5 flashes = NTC error
6 flashes = faulty control board
7 flashes = Motor jammed
8 flashes = Tacho fault
9 flashes = Motor triac on module board
10 flashes = Prog Selector or wiring fault

Hoover oph 148 stopped working through a cycle

I just had a similar problem to this with my Hoover OPH148 washing machine. The Cold Wash LED would flash 14 times repetitively after each wash cycle. The only way to open the door was to turn the controller to the off position.
I checked the heater element with a continuity test and found that the heater element had burnt out.
Hopefully this will help someone else if they see the same condition.

Ihave a Hoover Vision HD washing machine and the "Door Security" light keeps flashing. I have looked in the manual and it says the door is not properly shut. However the door is correctly shut and as a result the machine will not operate . The door will open or close but will not start a cycle to wash. Any suggestions please????

Hoover Nextra HNF2127 washing machine. Lights flashing at finish

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The start and pre-wash usually flash due to a clogged drain hose or the water pump. You’ll need to drain the water out of the base and also check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine). If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Hoover H130E 'Superwash' and start light flashing after cycle....

You might try unplugging the power cord for 5 minutes, then restore power again. Try the machine again--if still has problems (beat son severely), you may have to replace the control unit.
