SOURCE: No picture on TV through Sky, Home Cinema is on but have sound.

do have sound and picture at same time you will need a fibre optical cable, you connect that from your cinema system to your tv. then you need to set your cinema system to digital input or fibre optic or check by pressing aux on your remote and see which is the right one. i am not familier with panasonic as i have samasung.

SOURCE: I purchase a Panasonic Blu-Ray Home Theatre

Hello there,

Yes it is possible and relatively simple to do. I suspect you have only connected an HDMI cable from the Home Theater system (HT) to the TV. This cable only sends audio and video to the TV from the HT system - it can't be used to receive the audio from the TV back to the HT.

To get audio from the TV channels through the HT speakers, you will need to connect a separate audio cable from the AUDIO OUT sockets on the TV to the HT. This can be either a Digital Optical cable (connects to socket ringed in green) or an RCA type stereo audio cable (connects to AUX sockets ringed in red).

If you are using a cable or satellite receiver, you should connect the receiver directly to the HT rather than the TV. You would also need to select the correct INPUT on the HT when you want to use the speakers for the TV channels. This will be DIGITAL 1 if using the digital optical cable or AUX if using the RCA stereo audio cable.

The audio connections are explained on page 16 of your user manual and input selection is explained on page 23. If you don't have a manual, please let me know and I can supply one.

I can draw you a diagram showing how to connect your TV to the HT and provide step-by-step instructions for setting it up, but you will need to let me know the brand and model number of your TV. If you are using a cable or satellite receiver, please let me know the brand and model number of this receiver as well.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

SOURCE: I have a panasonic sc BT 100 blu ray home cinema

Inputs are not fused. Have you looked at the manual(s)?

Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.com

Digital inputs need to be assigned. The optical cable must be routed with no tight bends.

Try connecting the Bluray player directly to your projector and verify if you have the same issue. If you do not have an issue, your switch is causing the picture to freeze.

How to connect a humax foxsat-hd to a panasonic dmr 75eb recorder,to a panasonic th42px60b plasma tv,also will i get better result using component cable instead of scart lead. please can you...

You plug the humax into the panasonic dvd recorder and then from the outputs of the dvd recorder plug it into the panasonic plasma inputs

Is component video better than RGB? Well, yes and no, RGB provides the widest bandwidth and is the best choice for connecting audio visual devices like a Freeview box, digibox or Sky+ box to your TV, home cinema or home theatre system. DVD is however different, to reduce the amount of storage required DVDs are recorded using component video, it is therefore better to connect a DVD player via a component video cable to your TV, plasma or LCD TV etc.

Thanks if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask

Connection/sound issues!

the best thing to do is if ur lcd has a phono in/out is to connect ur theatre system through phono straight to the tv as then everything that comes up on the tv comes throught the theatre system
