First is to try replacing the cable with a new one that you know is good and see if that solves it.

The second is that the female USB port on the printer may have been damaged. I've seen this on a number of occasions, and it causes just what you're seeing. Unfortunately, repairing the USB port is an expensive proposition in most cases (unless you're quite close to an HP repair station) and most folks who find this is the issue just get a new printer.

Hope that's helpful.

How do I fix paper jam for AV122C

Sounds like the machine is picking up a signal from the paper exit sensor. The flag is not moving freely, or not moving at all. Look down in the paper hopper, ( where the paper is loaded), you might be able to see the sensor. The flag is spring loaded. Sometimes the flag falls off. The flag is black and shaped like a (T).

Picking up multiple sheets at once

The most common reasons for jams and misfeeds I run into are over-loaded paper input trays, dampness in the paper, and pages that have not been fanned prior to loading.

Most paper trays have an indicator showing the maximum amount of paper that can be loaded.

Make sure you have selected the correct menu settings for the weight and texture of the paper.

Before you load the paper flex, fan, and straighten the paper.

Don't store you paper on the floor, try to keep shelf and avoid setting heavy objects on top of stored paper.

If the problem is not solved by these steps, you could have dirty or misaligned input rollers. Fixing this may require service at a repair center.

  7. Try to scan or make a copy again to verify that the problem is fixed.

I have a Zebra Z4M printer. We use it to print on various labels - pre-printed and blank labels (semi-gloss). I've been struggling to print on one of the pre-printed labels. Everything else prints...

1} go to the MEDIA AND RIBBON CALIBRATION,
2}take 2 or 3 labels from the base paber, load the way to the based paper stay unther the sensors, 3}close printhead.
4} press ok.
5} Move the ribbon out from sensors and close the printhead.
6) press ok
7) wen printer ask RELOAD ALL, load the labels correcly and the ribbon, close the printhead and the top door, and press ok. The printer run the calibration it self.
wen finish, saved (press setub twice) and test.

Disconnect the power cord from the printer or at the wall outlet or both.
Open the paper output tray and then lift up the scanning unit cover until it locks into position.

Out of paper error in Zebra 110XiIII plus

There is a small thumb screw under the paper guide that has an adjustable stop to hold the paper. If you load it correctly, you should have one on each side to guide the paper into the printer. Also, the machine has either a roller or a bar to hang the labels on, correct? The bar has an adjustable stop to keep the roll from moving around while you print. You may want to setup the media sensor about 1 cm from the left of the printer to make it less subject to this type of error. They come from the factory very close to the edge of the paper to allow for some card printers to work well out of the box. Most people use labels and this is not necessary. I hope I have given you some helpful information.
