Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
This is a common issue with players who use the HDMI connection. Although, it is not peculiar to those players alone but if you are using the normal cables that comes with the console, then you might want to try this.
First, disconnect the cable from both ends(console and tv) and then try using a soft brush to clean all the ports and connectors of both the cable, console and tv.
Secondly, you ensure that the cables are well connected and properly and tightly fixed at both ends and then you can try using the console again.
Lastly, you can try obtaining a cable from a friend and see if it displays or projects sound when you try them again. You can also swap with a friend and see if yours works well with his console, By doing this, you would narrow it down to if the fault is coming from the cable, the tv or the console.
Hope this helped you?
