Question about Onkyo TX-SR706 Receiver
That's one of several reasons I can think of to bypass the receiver's handling of any video I care about. I only let my receiver 'see' the audio from anything external and send it's own video to the TV so I can see its internal menus.
I don't know what can be done if your video-carrying cables are all good.
