Question about Dell Dimension 2400 PC Desktop
Forgot windows xp admin password, As far as I know, there are a lot of tools and utilities that can be downloaded andused to recover, retrieve, reset windows password. However,I've tried a couple of these utilities through the years. The free software canhelp you, but you have to learn some computer skills and waste a lot time onlearning. If you want to save more time, maybe Google third party passwordrecovery tool or Google Window Password Seeker can help you.

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover or reset the administrator password in Windows. I have seen a number of "hacks" posted at various times, but none of them have been valid.
You'll need to reinstall Windows. If you can get your hard drive to someone with a USB drive adapter, they may be able to copy off your documents, pictures, etc. prior to the reinstall.
Hope that's helpful.
