THere are pictures on this card that load everytime to Picasa but don't show up when installed in my Canon S100. I want to delete them from the card so they don't continue to download everytim

There are several possible causes for this.

1a) The pictures are in a folder unknown to the camera. This could be due to the folder name, or its position in the folder structure.

1b) The pictures have filenames that do not correspond to the camera's naming scheme.

2a) The pictures were taken by a different camera. Many cameras will not display pictures that were taken by a different camera.

2b) The pictures have been edited on a computer. Many cameras will not display altered pictures.

Unless you have very strong reasons for keeping some pictures on the card, you should have the camera format the card after you download the pictures to a computer. Formatting wipes out all information on the card, preparing it afresh for further use. Failure to format the card periodically can lead to future problems.

If you need to keep some pictures on the card, format the card in the camera, then use a card reader to put the pictures back onto the card.

I can not past image from my pc to canon a3200

You can't use the camera to put pictures onto the card from the computer. You can, however, use a card reader. Put the card into a card reader connected to your computer, and it will appear as another hard drive. You can then drag-n-drop pictures to it the same way you copy any other files.

Be aware that if you've done any editing on the pictures then the camera may not display them.

Having gone three months without a response to my query, I assume my suggestion to use a card reader solved the problem.

Make sure the pictures appear in the Windows Photo Gallery. Select the pictures and choose print on the top menu area. You can select contact sheet which will fit 35 pictures. Or if you just want the 30 pics, copy and paste into say Microsoft word and adjust size to fit on one page.

Get yourself a card reader and use it to download your pics and movies to your computer. Then, format the card in the camera to get it working properly.

File errors

Download the english manual version pdf file and open with adobe reader go to page 84.
When you upload a file that is not taken by this camera to the removable disk, the [File Error!] message will be displayed on the LCD monitor in the play mode, and nothing is displayed in the THUMBNAIL mode.

Make sure that the memory card is formated in the camera not the memory card reader on the computer. Make sure you save your edited files in jpeg file format. Avi for movies. The manual makes it sound like the camera will not read altered files or files not taken by the camera itself. edited files are not files taken by the camera. Good luck I hope this helps.

Picture error

I would recheck all of my settings on the camera. Go to the menu and check everything one by one. Your card may be damaged also. Do you have another card to try? Do you have your manual? If not you can to to www.olympus.com to download a new manual specifically for your camera and it may address this issue. Good luck.
