Question about Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 Notebook
If the fan and the heat sink are clogged with dirt the cpu processor is overheating and will usually shut the laptop down. Try a can of compressed air and clean the fan "usually on the bottom" next use the can on the open vents on the back of the laptop, give it a good blast. if it works it will be a quick fix and should be a warning to have it properly cleaned and serviced by a computer professional.
