Thank you for posting your question here on

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the pump. Unfortunately there are no aftermarket parts to restore your pump to operating condition. If the unit is out of warranty there is no cost effective means to get parts or to have it repaired. You would need a replacement.

You may be interested in knowing they warranty the pumps for 3 years.

Thanks to for pulling this rule warranty information together. They sell many of these with the pool cover systems and their site tells you all you need to know about dealing with Rule warranty issues. You can find that information at:

I see hose repair parts in house and garden stores. How exactly do they work?

Hi Colleen:
Easy as 1-2-3
1- Cut off the bad fitting
2- Slip the clamp over the hose and push the replacement fitting into the hose
3- Align the clamp and tighten it.

Back to the garden!

The washing machine is leaking all the time?

The possibilities for this problem are mentioned as follows:-- Check the water filling hoses which lets the water inside the washing machine while filling. There are two fill for cold water filling or one for hot water filling.if this hoses are worn out or cracked the washer will both the hoses needs to be checked and replaced. But if the hoses are checked OK then other possibility is the tub seals on the tub.The seal can be seen between the transmission assembly and outer tub assembly of the washing machine. If the tub seal is got loose or worn out it needs to be checked and replaced. But if the tub seals are proper and not worn out then other possibility to check out is the drain pump.Check if the pump is got cracked ,loose or worn case or cracked or worn out it needs replacement but if its loose you can just refit it properly to stop the leaking. But if the pump is not leaking and it looks properly fit then other possibility to check is the outer tub assembly.its made up of plastic and this plastic gets cracked after certain period of time.or if any pointed object/material if remain in the clothes while washing .then due to that pointed object there becomes a hole in the plastic outer tub assembly .This all the possibilities.that has to be checked. This will help.Thanks.

2006 mazda vacuum leak

Doesn't sopund like vac leak. Need to check computer codes. Some parts stores will help check code for free, like O'Reillys, etc. My GUESS is coolant temp sensor, which is usually inexpensive easy fix. But you NEED to get code checked to find out for sure.

I have a Bosch Maxx Classic that leaks water that seems to be coming from the Solanoid/ Can anyone help with a fix.

Inspect back side of solenoid for cracked hose or cracked plastic body. If those look okay, unscrew the hose connection and replace the flat seal. It is the same size as a garden hose fitting, and will accept one of those as a replacement until you can find one that is approved for washing machine use, or jsut replace the hose, which should be done every few years as a precaution against a burst hose.

My Maytag Ensignia washer is leaking water from the pump area of the washer. I've eliminated the drain hose and I've traced the leak up to the area of the plastic casing around what looks to be the...

Look for broken plastic casing of the pump. A hairline crack would also leak water. Check for proper fitting of flexible hoses to & from pump. Another thing is to check for loose filter cap. A loose filter cap or broken O ring of the filter cap can leak water.

Blower air just through defroster vents, not front vents

The problem is that the plastic lines that the air flows through get frail and cracks and breaks. What happens is when the hose breaks you loose vacuum and the system reverts to defrost mode. You should be able to see it from under the hood on the passengers side. You will have to find the area that is broken and then go to the parts store and get some rubber hose that will fit over the plastic hose.Take a piece of the plastic hose with you so you can get the right size hose to fit over it.This just happened to my 97 Astro van.I found the broken hose and repaired it with the rubber line and is working normal now.Hope this helps.Let me know what you find out.Good luck.

I have a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville last night it blew the transmission line off the cooler where it hooks to the raditor. Wondering what i should check and what i need to fix it? The car was just fixed from...

The hoses are crimped on to the fitting so maybe the hose cracked in the area of that fitting and finally snapped off from the pressure it holds
All you need to do is to replace the hose assembly which can be ordered from any GM dealerships parts department
You may be able to repair the old one with a replacement hose cut from a bulk roll sold at auto parts stores. You will need to double clamp each end for the line holds pressure. It is well worth purchasing a hose that is crimped together than clamped

My 1998 Chevy Silverado has coolant leaking from the radiator at the small metal fitting at the top drivers side of the rad. Is the a seal that can be replaced or does the entire rad need to be replaced?

There's not usually a seal for these, the metal is commonly molded into the plastic sides of the radiator.. Remove the radiator tube and inspect the plastic around the fitting for cracks. If you find cracks in the plastic, then you know your answer. If it's leaking from around the radiator hose you could try replacing the clamp with a hose clamp that you can tighten with a screw driver.

My guess is the plastic is cracked there, and the radiator needs replaced, but you should inspect it first of course.

Good luck

Vacuum leak left rear engine, how to repair it

Im not sure where you are meaning. Im only able to assume this is possibly an intake manifold leak. I would not know unless I knew exactly where on the left rear, being you are saying vacuum this where I would assume.I would inspect every hose and tube before removeing an intake although they will leak and gaskets do go out. Inspect those lines and hoses first I have seen just a little line make someone think it was a manifold and then come to find out it was just a little ***** plastic line under the black plastic protectant loom.
