Can i have a Facebook page for my business as well as my private one please?

Yes you can create as many pages as you want. If you are talking about creating a Business Page That's Public and one that's private, I would suggest putting the name in for the private one as (your business name) Private and then go into the private page's settings, and select private. Then just click save and your private page will BE private. Hope this helps!

Cant set up wifi on my new tablet

To set up your WiFi network, tap the Menu Key > Settings > Wireless & networks > WiFi settings. If WiFi is not checked, tap WiFi to turn wireless on, and wait for your tablet to detect nearby networks. Tap the name of your network and enter a security password, if required.

WiFi networks that are configured as private or closed do not display the network name on WiFi-enabled devices. To Join a closed or private network, tap Menu Key > Settings > Wireless & networks > enter the WiFi network name, security, and password.

Not getting wi Fi

  1. From the Homescreen, tap Settings.
  2. In Settings, tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Slide the slider to "on" to start your device looking for Wi-Fi networks. In a few seconds, you will see a list of all available networks (if you don't see the list, there may not be any within range).
  4. There are two kinds of networks: public and private. Private networks have a lock icon next to them. Public don't. The bars next to each network name indicate the strength of the connection - the more bars, the faster connection you'll get.

To join a public network, just tap the network's name and you'll join it.

  5. If it's a private network, you'll need a password. Tap the network name and you'll be prompted for a password. Enter it and tap the join button in the bottom right-hand corner. If your password is correct, you'll join the network and be surfing the web. If not, you can try entering it again (assuming you know it, of course).
  6. More advanced users can click the arrow at the right of the network name to enter more specific settings, but the everyday user won't need this.

Problem with DIR 655

On the laptops, check that your Internet is set to use "Private" networks as opposed to "Public". Private networks allow others to see you and you to see others on the network, once you've entered the proper pass phrase as set up in the router's software. Your Manual for the router has the instructions you need to complete this process.

Internet can connect but browsrer doesnt work

When you go into Control Panel and Network and Sharing Center, click on Customize in the area of your LAN. If your negtwork is in the Public area, change it to Private. The setting to Private allows you to see others in your network, and them to see you.

Did a factory restore, set up wireless, can browse internet via a neighbours unsecured network, but cant on mine. can log in to router wirelessly but thats it no internet

Dide you set up the wireless on your router? If you have done this and you have it set for None for security, you will also be "unsecured", BUT you still have a name (SSID) to identify your network. Check that your internet is set for "Private" access, if you are presented the option between Private and Public.

Local access only.

You need to configure the router for internet access. If you are on Cable ISP, you need to do MAC Cloning. If you are on DSL ISP, you need to configure the router for PPPoE. Normally, the router's setup CD can guide on how to do it.
