Question about Miele Washing Machines
The main wash light flashing indicates a fault in the heating circuit.
Main wash led flashes (F8) = Open or short circuit in the NTC temperature sensor or it's connections.
You'll need to gain access to the heater, in or around the heater will be the temperature sensor. (Can be a probe inserted into the heater or a circular item in close proximity, depends on the age and build number).
Once you locate it, check the wiring, if the wiring is OK, you'll need to replace the sensor to see if it cures the problem.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
