Unless a telescope states that it uses image erecting optics, the image will be upside down, just the nature of the beast. If it is a huge problem for you, you can buy an eyepiece that will turn image upside right.

I have a haze effect on only one side of my picture

If a haze is on the lower part of the screen, and picture, that means something is wrong on the upper side of the sensor. It is almost impossible it has to do with the lens. Although you can look if the front of the lens is clean. Only clean a lens with a lens pen and not with any fluid or paper towel.
I just wonder if the camera was in a moist environment for a longer time. This could be the reason a part of the sensor has changed. Something like mould can have grown on the sensor. If that is true, I don't thick it is worth bringing it is for a repair.

I have a Canon Rebel XT. After taking a picture, the viewer shows the shot upside down and when I down load to my computer they come in all upside or sideways. Just started doing this and I've had

The EOS cameras have some sort of sensor built in to tell the camera which way the shot should be orientated on screen and when they are transferred to the computer.
It sounds like the sensor is jammed or broken and sensing (for some reason) that the camera is upside down when the shot is taken.
If you don't want to pay to have it repaired you can use a program to rotate them or turn of the image rotate option in the menu. I believe this ignores the sensor information.

I have only 1 cd - simple viewer dfor panasonic DMC-FX12 - what do i need to upload my pictures onto my PC

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

When I try to access my pictures it pops up with Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. How do I fix this.

You need to right click on a picture and move ur mouse over option "open with" and choice something like windows picture viewer. If it not in that list then choice "default program" and choice something that opens the picture. You have somehow changed your default picture viewer to Explorer.

I copied some 5 megapixel pictures from my phone to my garmin, but they won't display fullscreen on the garmin and they're cut off in the thumbnail viewer. Is there a definite size limit for pictures on...

Look at the instructions for your Nuvi to find the screen resolution (possibly VGA) and then use a program like IrfanView (free) to resize the photos to something like the same. 5MP is far too large a file for your Garmin to even to attempt to display.

I need to down load Windows picture and fax

This should be included with your installation of Windows Vista. If you want to reinstall Windows Picture and Fax viewer program, try the following.

1. Click on Start - Run and then type : regsvr32 /u %windir%\system32\shimgvw.dll.

2. Once you have done, then again, Click on Start - Run and type: regsvr32 /i %windir%\system32\shimgvw.dll.

This will reinstall Picture and Fax viewer.

Panasonic Lumix Simple Viewer & Photofun Studio Viewer software

Do you need it?
A Windows computer does not need software to take images from the camera. It also has built in image viewer.
From the Web you can down load free image manipulators such as Irfanview or Picasa, the Gimp to name but three

Sony Cybershot DSC-W100 LCD viewer

do you guys have a grainy display, that makes it look like there are less color variations?

for example, if you take a picture of something that varies in color from one side of it to the other, with an infinite variation in one color to the next; do the colors separate into grainy spotches, as if it lost some color display capabilities? mine did this, if i took a picture of something that had different hues of one color, they would all flow together into one splotch, and upload fine.

so i sent it in and they said they "reconnected the lens-flex" among other routine things. problem fixed.

but then i sent it in again and they said they did the same thing, but the problem this time around was my capture-mode dial was glitching, the display was FINE. sadly they didn't do jack to fix the dial it and it still screws up. it will switch back and forth from adjacent modes without me turning it.

i'm happy with this camera but its a pain sometimes. if you guys have warranties send your units in ASAP to get it fixed for freeeeeee.

best of luck, i can't suggest anything beyond that.
