Question about Keurig B60 Coffee Maker

1 Answer

When my coffee starts to brew, the coffee (water) does not come down in a nice single stream. It is all spread out (kind of like water rolling off an umbrella) and some of it misses the cup. Also, alot of the coffee includes the coffee grinds. I tried it with just water (without the coffee cup) and the water stream behaves in the same way. Any suggestions? Thanks, Andy

Sorry to read about your issue.

in addition to below take a pin and clean the little tube

The brewer should be de-scaled at least every 3-6 months. Scale is harmless, but if left unattended, it can hinder optimal brewer performance. De-scaling your brewer regularly helps maintain the heating element, removable water reservoir and other parts of the brewer that come in contact with water. Better water quality and water heating means a better cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa or iced beverage. We recommend de-scaling your brewer at least every 6 months (every 3 months if your water has a high mineral content). The de-scaling process involves using 48 ounces of undiluted white vinegar.

Take 48 oz of white vinegar. place in tank. pretend you are making coffee (Do No Use K Cup). let the water fill you mug. then empty that mug. Do it again until tank is empty. then let sit for 4 hours.
Then fill with fresh water to the top. let that tank of water run thru. towards the end taste the water.
If you taste vinegar..use more clean water, until the taste is ok.

I tried to help you. Please help me and Vote/Rate this response. Thanks and good luck

Coffee brewing comes out in a fast steady stream when brewing, coffee doesn't brew properly and comes out weak. taste like unbrewed.

If it comes out in a steady "stream" it sounds like the sprayhead is missing. The sprayhead disperses the water out and evenly over the grounds.
If the sprayhead IS in place then it could be a temperature problem. If the temperature is not hot enough the coffee will not brew correctly.

Steam works great. Problem is, very little water comes thru the machine into where the coffee grinds are. I have primed. Nothing. I have cleaned the screen. Nothing.

Remove the screen and screw in the head and make sure screen is clean, press brew button with screen off, if you get a nice stream then problem is solved, if you get no stream, then you will have to remove the 2 allen wrench screws and check spring and plastic valve, male sure they are not blocked.
