The toaster side is stuck and you will have to unplug it and it should pop back . If it doesnt then you will just pull it up with a tool to get it from sticking .

On the left side when you press the toast button the tray does not lower. Is this a common problem. The toaster is over 1 year old.

Try cleaning and scraping out any debris in the toaster. Mine had several places where I had to scrape it out with a screw driver. Make sure you do it outside and unplugged. The debris was actually keepeing the carrier from going down.

The left side of the toaster will not go down when I push the Toast/Cancel button. The right side works fine. Any help is appeciated.

My toaster started having this same problem. After several tries of unplugging and replugging with no luck, I decided to try to take it apart. Without a special screwdriver, you can't remove the bottom. I did remove the crumb trays and scraped a few pieces of stuff that had baked itself to the sides and bottom. After carefully cleaning both sides, I took it back in and replugged. Everything works fine. The left side is used more than the right and had debris built up. I think it must have stuck the wire frame that is supposed to move the toaster up and down. I used a long screwdriver to scrape out the debris. It was burnt on. MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE PLUG FROM POWER BEFORE STICKING ANYTHING METAL IN THE TOASTER.

The left side slots will not lock in the down position to cook the toast what can I do?

There may be a broken wire inside on that side of the toaster as if all power were out, neither would lock in the down position...

Xbox 360 power button light keeps flashing and disc tray does not open

Hi when the power button flashes red if you hold down the little round white button under the dvd tray and keep holding it down then press the open button for dvd then it will flash a number of lights write this down.
it will be flashing 1 2 3 or 4 lights so write it down then hold down the white button again and press the draw open button again and write down how many again.
do this 4 times all together and tell me what code it has given you then i can tell you exactly what the problem is

so for instance
you hold down the little white wireless button and keep holding it down then press the open button for the dvd tray and say 4 lights are flashin
so write down 4
then hold white button down again and press open button again
it may flash 4 again
then do it again and it may flash 2 lights
then again and it may flash 2 again

when you have gotten these 4 codes post me a message and tell me exactly what they tell you and in the correct order so it may look like this
4 lights flashing
2 lights flashing
1 light flashing
2 lights flashing

if you look at where the button is where you turn it on well you have the green light in the middle well around this is four outer lights that light up red their are 4 of these 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom either side of the green light, their the ones that flash green when its spinning rounf with green lights so write this code down then ill be able to tell you exactly what the fault is ok

let me know then i can assist you further ok

I have a tefal TT550015 toast 'n' Egg and have no instructions on how to use it. Please advise

To use the egg side only, fill the measuring cup with the correct amounts of water. (One side is for boiled eggs, one is for poached eggs.) Pour the water into the basin at the bottom. For boiled- Place 1-4 eggs in the tray with the four holes. Use the sharp thing at the bottom of the measuring cup to pierce the egg shell. Place the lid over top, and hit the 'egg' button. When the light on the button goes out, remove the lid. For poached, grease the pan. Spray/ butter, whatever. DO NOT rely on the non-stick. The thick black tray for boiling eggs goes on first. With the egg in the greased pan (scrambled or whole) place the pan into the unit. There are four plastic pieces in the boiling tray to show you where it goes, the handles aligned. The round tray, with the square holes in it, can be used to warm pre-cooked meat. This is optional, and that tray goes on top. Place the lid over the top, and press 'egg'.

WARNING: this cooks by steam, and any remainder can cause burns. Be careful when removing the lid. Same goes for the product. The boiled eggs should not be touched directly.

To make an egg sandwich, load the egg side and the bread/english muffin/bagel into the toaster. Press the 'egg/toast' button BEFORE starting the toaster. The toaster will start on a timer so that the egg and toast will be done at the same time. When the toast pops up, you are good to go.

Note: there should be no water afterwards, maybe a little oil if you cooked meat. Hard water residue is easily removed with vineger and a paper towel.

CD-Rom Drive tray came off

If the tray came out of the drive, it's toast. If the face plate came off the tray, it usually slides back on from the top down. If the face plate came off the drive itself, it should pop back on if you line up the tabs properly.

Dell Printer 1720

This error is caused by the the flap on the right hand side of the output tray (the tray the paper feeds into once it has printed). It becomes stuck in the up position and sends a false positive error to the printer. One "work around" for this is to tape a quarter to the plastic flap. This keeps the flap in a down position, thus negating the false positive. The other option is to call dell laser printer tech support to get it fixed. <If it is still under warranty>
