Question about Maytag Dishwasher
The flow is controlled by an electrically operated valve which is in turn controlled by the programmer. It isn't possible to determine if the valve or the programmer is at fault without physically being with the machine. I'm afraid you will need a repairman to call. About the only thing you might do before getting out your wallet is to disconnect the water from the source to check if there is an in-line filter that is clogged. If the dishwasher is installed as commonly done, this will be under the sink and you will need to shut off the supply to the sink to avoid a mess.
