I put the PUK code. Then I put new PIN. Then I put to verify the new PIN. Then it says: "Code Error"

PUK and PIN = two separate things

PUK = Personal Unlocking Key. Supplied by your cell phone provider as the people who own the phone under an unexpired contract.

PIN = Person Identification Number. The number you use to keep your phone locked and private.

If the phone is stolen the cellphone carrier locks it with a PUK so it can't be used unless the person who has it contacts them. Also the phone is locked if a user tries 4 times unsuccessfully to open a phone using the wrong PIN Number. You can only open it with a PUK code.

Click on my name, click on TIPS, click More, click Cellphones, read my article on PUK codes.

I still cant find puk code

The only way to get a PUKIN code for your personal SIM card is to contact your Cell phone service provider and tell them you are locked out pf your phone and need the P-U-K code to unlock it. They will ask you a series of security questions and assuming your the account holder you will know the answers, because you gave them when you set up service. If not...have the aim person on the account call and get it for you. Unfortunately, this ia the only solution. There isn't a way around it.

I bought a samsung sgh-a887 and it has a personal lock code from the person i bought it from. can the phone be master reset without this code

yes, but first remove or back up your personal data, this code will reset your phone to factory settings and also the phone lock code, after you can go to your settings and enter a new code. dial *2767*3855# or *2767*2878* your phone will restart. Enjoy!

My phone was stolen.i was givin a samsung t239,but its locked,we dont know the code . heres the IMEI # 011899/00/015612/7

Most likely the phone is locked to a mobile phone provider. Ask the person who gave you the phone for details of the mobile phone provider that was used on this phone.
You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code for your phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone.
They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone

Security Code

Try contacting Tracfone customer service. Did some digging and it seems if you try and fool with these too much it might lock the SIM down permanently. See:

Good luck!

The phone lock code has probably been changed by the previous owner. You should contact him and ask him for the code.
