Where do I go to change router channel?

You can find the user manual for your router here:
http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=DIR-655&tab=3

To change the channel, look on page 10 of the user manual for directions on how to access the web interface of the router.
Once you get logged-in to the router, you can then go to page 22 to change the settings for the channel. You'll want to disable "Enable Auto Channel Scan" and choose 802.11g as the "802.11 Mode". Then choose the channel you require from the "Wireless Channel" selection.

How do i switch the channels on the router?

Hi susanwhitbou !
To change the wireless channel, type in your browser address bar : 192.168.0.1 If you haven't changed them, your username and password should be admin and blank. Next, when you see your router's setup page, press on Manual Configurations, and then on Wireless Setup. Now, in order to change the channel manually, untick the box that says Auto Channel Scan. After you'll do that, you will be able to change the channel by pressing on the drop down box that says Auto Channel Scan.
Hope that helps, omerk

My phones run with 2. Ghz frecuency so when I used my inalambric phones get disconnected from the web, how can I solve this problem I have a router model F5D 7230-4

On all wireless routers there are channel settings. If you phone is on the same channel, you may have problems with the router. Also make sure your base station to your phone is not next to the router. Its radio waves may cause interference. First thing to try is to change the channel number for your wireless router. See the attached link for your router information and how to change the channel.

Good Luck.

Wbr 2310

By default the channel is set to 6. The Channel can be changed to fit the channel setting for an existing wireless network or to customize the wireless network. The Auto Channel Scan setting can be selected to allow the WBR-2310 to choose the channel with the least amount of interference.

hello!

-- what is the exact model number of your router?
-- what is the operating system of your computer?
-- are you trying to change the channel wirelessly or directly connected to the router?

1. make sure that your computer is directly connected to the router while changing the channel to avoid frequent disconnection.
