Question about Washing Machines
A couple of weeks ago after I washed a load of clothes I started to put them in the dryer when I noticed they were really wet. I returned them to the machine and ran the spin cycle again, but I still had wet clothes. Well, I realized that the motor was running as if the cycle was in progress and the water was draining out of the tub, however the tub itself did not spin at all.
Thanks for your help. If I am unable to fix this myself, at least I will not be flying blind if a repairman tries to put one over on me, LOL.
It sounds like the drivebelt is lose. Which i hope.( motor is unlikely but transmission can be) See HERE at #30 for the drivebelt. If you press back to sub componenets you can get the drawing of the transmission too. Drivebelt goes to the pulley of transmission.
Number 12( pully of drive at motor) can be lose too
Here you can also see what the parts will cost
