Yes you can replace the door assembly, but it will be as much or more than just replacing the entire unit

How to remove and replace microwave door key

You must remove the inside plastic door liner that surrounds the glass. It just snaps into place so usea small flat blade screw driver to pry it out. You can then replace the door key.
If the spring has detached from the door a the outer door must be replaced.

The handle screws are accessed by removing the door liner which usually snaps in place. Often, the tabs that hold the liner in place will break off during disassembly. Officially, after working on a microwave door it should be tested for microwave leakage.

LG door panel separating

DO NOT use this microwave in the current condition it is in- please! Although microwaves do not emit ionizing radiation, it does emit non-ionizing radiation and electromagnetic fields- and there is a lot of research studies being done possibly linking microwave exposure to cancer.
If your microwave is in that bad a shape, bring it to an authorized microwave repair shop or junk it and buy a new one.

Faceplate of door by lower L/H hinge cracked. How do I remove the door to replace the Faceplate?

Front doors are attached inside the microwave at the top and bottom of the oven cavity. Top case has to come off using, likely, security torx screw drivers.
Remove the top hinge.
Remove the bottom hinge.
Door falls off.
Replace the front panel of the door.
Reinsert the lower hinge with the door, close and latch the door.
Holding the door firmly to the microwave, tighten the door hinge. Replace the top hinge.
(On some units, both hinges need to be installed at the same time. Use masking tape to hold the lower hinge - makes it easier.)

Microwave door tension spring

See answer here http://www.fixya.com/support/t265705-microwave_door

in different thread.. Basically have to pry plastic trim ring off inside of door with putty knife (careful, it cracks easily) to get to screws on bottom of door. See second pic. Top screws are easily accessible from inside of door. Spring can easily be replaced by hand once you get adequate access. You'll need a fairly stubby right angle screwdriver (I used a cut-down #2 Phillips bit and small Vice-Grips as a make-do) to get to the screws. Also need Torx (T10, I think) to detach the shock absorber doodads from the door where they attach above the hinges. If you're just starting to take the door apart, be careful when you take out the top 2 screws on the inside-- they hold the inside plastic piece on , but they also hold the whole outer stainless/ glass/ handle piece on. It just slips in at the bottom, so be ready to slide it out when you take these screws out.fea33aa.pngc391898.jpg

IN CABINET MICROWAVE

Hello JudyKitz,
That mesh is there to protect the user and acts as a shield to contain microwave energy to the cooking compartment. Never compromise that material.. You can purchase replacment liners at this site http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5130353 If you prefer, you can get a thin piece or sheet plastic cut to fit at many local hardware stores or home centers..You may want to make a paper template or take accurate measurements with you for that method.. Hope this helps you..

NN-GT576SBPQ door falls off

I would think your door hinge has come loose, or the door may be cracked.

This should be repaired before the microwave is used to prevent the possibility of burns due to microwave leakage.

You can locate an authorized servicer or contact Panasonic support here.
