Belt Dryers have a drive belt that turns the clothes drum. If the belt breaks, the drum stops rotating. Then you need to replace the belt, and often the idler pulley, because the pulley tends to wear out at the same time.

hello, first thing to check is the long pin on the inside of the door make sure it's not snaped off, 2nd thing is the belt inside the dryer . if these are both ok then it's possible that the capacitor next to the motor could be faulty give a tap to see if the motor turns good luck
