Probably something spilled inside the remote. Most remotes are snapped together. Using a thin knife or similar tool carefully pry it alart. Use a q tip and rubbing alcohol to clean the circuit board and the rubber keypad contacts. Let dry and reassemble.
Either something was spilled onto the remote, or the remote itself is malfunctioning. You can try to remove the batteries, pop open the case with a flat head screw driver, clean the rubber buttons/electrical board with q-tips dipped in rubbing alcohol; or buy a new remote for under $20.

Hi, I think you have lost your precious Remote because you don't do it by yourself if you have not any experience about electronics. You made a mistake to wash it out with alcohol and i think you didn't give time to dry it.And moisture was still there and you you connect batteries with it too. That's why you feel hot.It means that a short circuit has been occurred in it.My advise is to contact any expert nearby to you and avoid any new experiment on it.It can be repaired yet. Thanks.
Try taking it apart and cleaning the rubber number pad with alcohol and let dry before putting back together this should help.
It seems to have have something spilled on it.
