1st-What O\S (win-xp, vista, # 7,etc.) did you "RESTORE" ? 2nd-Why did you mess with the BIOS. ? Did you understand that the BIOS is the INSIDE\PHYSICAL part of the laptop and NOT the Operating System [O\S] Windows_xp, vista, #7 etc.etc. 3rd-That "cannot find operating system" could be something as simple as the BIOS was RESET by something as a 'glinch', electrical short, suddenly turning off ( not that you did it! ) of laptop , lighting while you were working ( ALMOST ALWAYS... when the computer is writing to hard drive [H\D] with laptop The BIOS could not see the H\D because is was changed by sudden electrical surge. That you replaced H\D, you will have to REINSTALL the O\S again.Because I will assume that you brought a DIFFERENT type of H\D [ maybe something with more GB?, different model H\D ]
TV has gone into "protect mode" to do just that to protect against the damaging failure that has been detected, you will need a servicer to diagnose the failure. Good luck and Merry Christmas!
Check the set up. You may have closed captioning turned on which will show up as a black box if there is no closed captioning information for the selected channel. If that fails to resolve the problem, update this.

Are you sure it's the keyboard, or could you be applying pressure to the memory slots?
That's a common problem. Try pressing on the memory slot as if to push it into the board.

As a battery saving method, Sony typically puts a button on the camera body that allows you to turn off the screen. You will still be able to take photos but you will have to use the viewfinder. This would be the first thing to check See #8 on the diagram.
