Hello,
The sensor has stopped responding to the remote control unit. If I need to replace the sensor(s) how much do you think it would cost (parts and labour)?
Thanks for any help

Heres a clever way i use to check remotes are working. put your mobile phone into camera mode and point your remote control toward the camera while pressing any button.if working you will see a blue light emiting from your remote on phone screen.

Actually I cannot help regarding the parts cost and labor because Im not familiar with the parts cost in your country.

But try reseting the remote control reset button or RST, and test your remote control to your unit.

I hope it can help.

ASTA12JEC Fujitsu Air Conditioning unit. Dear sir or madam. My air conditioning unit is no longer responding to remote control but stays on. It used to work fine then one day it stopped responding.

Start by replacing the batteries to your remote control and make sure there is nothing blocking the IR receiver on the unit itself. If that is blocked by something hanging on it or tape over it from something hanging on it previously.

Our Kreisler air conditioner is rarely used, is 7 years old and will not switch on. The batteries have been renewed on the remote. Could it be the sensor in the unit? Do I need a service man?

The first thing I would suggest it to verify that power is provided to the unit. You should get a display on the face of the indoor unit if there is power. If there is power, try turning the outdoor unit off for a few seconds and back on to reset the controller. If your unit is like I think it is, the indoor unit receives its power and control signal from the outdoor unit, then the remote utilizes a rf signal to control the system. Also try new batteries in YOUR remote.

I have an split-type aircon (brand: Fukitsu) remote control AR-DL2. it has power and display when i put on batteries. but the aircon unit does not respond to the remote control. what do i do to fix this?...

Lift indoor unit cover and remove DC wire from display sensor. After 3 minutes again plug it and close the door. Now you try with your remote. If still problem, check your remote through cell phone camera by pressing any button in remote. If ultra light is visible thr' camera, remote is o.k. If remote is o.k, repair/replace PCB. Thanks.

My Air Conditioner has stopped responding to the Remote. I have checked with my mobile phone camera & the 1 light still works on the remote. The Air Con manual button works but remote does not. Is this...

Try with this method which happened last week experience. Replace new batteries. And also remove dc wire to indoor unit display sensor. And after 3 minutes fix it again. And now start with remote. Mostly it will. If not, you have to replace receiving sensor in PCB or replace complete PCB. Please write back about the result. Thanks.

The remote control has to be very close to the wall unit to function. Batteries are new and the lenses are clean. Mod. G242CB , 2 years old

One of the sensor problem Whether receiving sensor in PCB or transmission sensor in remote. Please try with same type remote and then conclude.
