Normally these pumps don't plug up,it is either the sump in the bottom of the units interior that has food residue plugging it,remove the screen and check in lower sump area,or the hose leading to the housev drain or garbage disposal can be blocked with food sludge,if you still need to remove the pump, you will need to tilt the machine upward to remove the hoses off the pump, but this requires removing the water supply hoses and electrical connection to the unit

I have a little giant submergable sump pump and its not pulling water the motor keeps getting hot How to fix it?

Check the discharge hose to see if it is clogged or kinked. If you disconnect the pump from the hose, does the pump operate normally? Check the bottom of the pump to make sure the pump intake is not clogged. If no clogs are found, and the pump does not work with the hose disconnected, it is probably the pump. Depending on the age of the pump and the pump size, it may need replacement.

2: does pump motor spin when asked, (2 men or kit and you)

yes, line clogged
no? pump dead, or clogged clean pump or replace, your call.
if pump seems dead i check for 12vdc at pump on demand.
kid turns switch and 12vdc lands on motor pins.
got 12v, good.
so pump spins, and no squirt.
A: the line is long, very long. and can clog easy due to that fact
or the jet on the end is clogged.
so why no remove the hose. does the hose squirt on demand.? at rear of car>?
yes, nozzle clogged.

some lines near front of car (hoses) have check valves.

My diswasher has alot of water in it after we run the dishers thru. May be a clog? How can i check if there is a clog?

Hi
Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

The water does not drain I check for clogged lines and they where not. could it be my drain plump si shot

You did not indicate that you pulled the pump filter to check for a clog or restriction. If you did not pull the filter out then I recommend that you follow the steps shown in this image to pull the pump filter out and check for a clog or restriction in this area. Since the tub drained using the hose beside this filter then it is likely that a clog or restriction in the pump filter is causing your drain problem. If you find no problems in this filter then you could have an undetected clog in the drain hose or you could have failed/clogged drain pump. If the pump is not running in the drain mode then you could have a failed control board or a wiring failure.

You need to check the pump. Remove the hoses from the pump and use a flashlight to look into the suction port. Look for anything clogging the pump (like the occasional stray sock) and check the pump impeller. Make sure there are no broken/missing blades and that the impeller spins freely. If any blades are missing/broken or if you cannot get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. Hopefully it's just a clogged pump. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

If the drain hose is not kinked or clogged, then the pump will need to be checked. Remove the hoses from the pump and use a flashlight to look into the suction port of the pump. Look for anything clogging the pump (like the occasional stray sock). Check the pump impeller and make sure there are no broken/missing blades and that the impeller spins freely. If any blades are missing/broken or if you cannot get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. Hopefully it's just something clogging the pump or jamming the impeller. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helps. Best wishes.

Wont drian water

First, obviously, check that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Then, remove the hose from the pump and using a flashlight, look into the suction port on the pump. It sounds nasty, but I generally blow through the hose to check for any clogs. Yuck! LOL Make sure nothing is clogging the pump (like the occasional lost sock) and check the pump impeller. Make sure no blades on the impeller are missing or broken and that the impeller will spin freely. If any blades are broken/missing or if the impeller won't turn freely, the pump is defective and will have to be replaced. Hopefully it is just a clogged drain line or pump. Hope this helped and best wishes.
