My Armstrong gas furnace model #m921-g6 pilot blew out and now I can't get it to stay lighted .

Most instruction are similar but read How to light pilot carefully.
Did you apply a flame to the thermocouple until you could have pilot light lite?
most will have you hold flame for a couple minutes then rotate knob to on from pilot position.
remember be careful with gas and if still issue call plumber.

My Kozy World nat gas wall heater has worked beautifully for the past three winters. I cleaned it this morning with canned air, got all the dust off the ceramic plates, blew out the burner inlets, blew out...

Does the pilot light stay lit if you continually depress the control valve?
If the pilot light stays lit as long as you keep the valve depressed, then the problem is the thermocouple is bad. The pilot light makes enough electricity via the thermocouple to hold open the gas valve that feeds the burners. If the thermocouple fails to produce that electricity, the gas valve will shut down and switch off the gas flow to the whole unit.

Can't seem to access Hotpoint Stove Pilot Light? Also is there a second pilot light for the oven?

For the last 10 years or more there are no pilot lights on gas ranges. Modern ranges have an electronic igniter on the burners and a different type on the oven.

Furnace and pilot will not stay lit

The tube is gas supply for pilot. You have to make sure the thermocouple is in the flame at least half way and make sure its tight in the gas valve. There should be a small silver plug on the gas valve near the pilot supply tube. You can pop the cap and adjust the height of the pilot flame a little. Can you tell if it has a flame rod in or above the flame? If it does You can remove it and clean it with steel wool.

Coleman evcon furnace

Did you clean the pilot orfice?? It has a very small opening about the size of a hair. You may have to use a needle to open the opening....Are you getting gas to the pilot orfice assembly from the Gas Valve when you set it to Pilot?? If not then check the pilot adjustment screw on top of the gas valve at the pilot tube. CW decreases flow.

My blower on my furnace works but I have no flame for heat. If I stick a lighter in where the gas comes through it kicks in but when cycle is finished it doesn't. I think my pilot light is out and do not...

I think you have a bad thermocouple. The thing your lighting should be the pilot(otherwise you got a bigger problem and you should definitely call someone). The thermocouple senses heat so if it's bad it won't send the signal to the gas valve to open.

Gas Furnace Will not light

Hi, normally when you turn the gas off at the flex line valve and leave it off for awhile, the gas has to clear the gas valve and lines up to the pilot. Purge its self of air before it will light again. It will take the electronic ignition several clicks and more before there is enough gas to light the pilot and then open the main gas valve to fire the burners. Tell me, what kind of gas furnace is this when you speak of water? you say the site glass was full and you had to drain it and then the ignitor kept on clicking when it normally only took one click to light it. Please let me know the style as in a split system, a package unit, all in one, or what you have. I will wait to hear back from you. If the pilot does not light right away, then yes let it continue to click and see if it will light. On a heater with the electronic ignition control module on it or a circuit board, this is what tells the pilot coil to energize to light the pilot. It will send power to the pilot coil to open and let gas through to light and same for the main gas valve, will get a signal to open when the pilot is on. It will not open unless the pilot is lite for saftey. I will wait for you're responce.

Fan continues to run after desired heat is established , I blew out the line at pilot and the unit is taking 10 to 15 mins for fan to cut off

Looks like your fan limit switch may be bad. It fits into the warm air side of the furnace. It tells the fan to come one and off when the heat is blowing over the limit switch. Now if that limit is defective it also will affect the lighting of your heater being it electronic ig-niter or just common thermocouple type controlled pilot light. Now above your post I think the wong information was given about your gas heater, so giving you the exact information will be difficult. Now from hearing you explanation of the problems, I hope my information was a help to you, Thanks Sea Breeze
