The speakers can only be blown if the TV was at a high volume for a long time and I would expect to hear something. Have you tried running through the menu and seeing if something has been overlooked?

Yes, it's the lamp. Order one from your local electronics repair shop. Or toss your Sanyo TV in the garbage and buy something new

My Sanyo Flat screen TV is dead. No sound and pictures

Could be the power supply board. If there are no lights at all This may be the issue. For about 50-75 bucks you should be able to
buy a new one. If you are handy and can solder is is most likely
blown capacitor "caps". Very cheap fix a couple of bucks, but be careful a capacitor disharge could knock you on your can or in a really bad situation kill. Not kidding. First always look for a reset button or blown fuse.

It sounds that the connections between T'Con board and panel have some loose contact. Re-seat all the flat cables and check. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. Scratch on sanyo flat screen tv

The overlay or outer screen on any LCD or Plasma is bonded to and cannot be removed/replaced short of replacing the entire Panel or display unit which needless to say costs more than the set did when new.

If its an older projection set the outer clear screen may be available depending on brand and model number.

Is there a way to fix my sanyo 32in cracked screen #DP32648

You can have them repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new LCD. My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD. It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one. After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.

Sanyo PLV-55WM1

Hi I read your problem with the Sanyo PLV-55wm1. It sounds to me like a power supply problem. Like most new electronics devices, they use a switched mode power supply (SMPS)to supply the voltages to the rest of the set. Many of them use a current feedback loop to sense a short in the circuits that it powers. I would check for a shorted diode in the high voltage section of the tv. If any one of the components is shorted around the high voltage circuit, The current control line will be zero forcing the regulator to shut down.
