There should be a switch on the front or side of the computer that will enable wireless. If that doesn't work, make sure wireless services are turned on.

Control Panel -> Administrative tools -> Services -> WLAN Autoconfig

Make sure it's on and set to automatic. If this doesn't help, let me know! Thanks!

How do I turn on wireless capability

To enable or disable wireless functions, you must use the Hot Key combination of "Fn" + "F8". This means to press and hold the "Fn" key (near the windows key), and the press the "F8". This is a toggling function. Each time you press the key, it will turn on or turn off the function. Look for the Wireless Light to ensure that the wireless activated.

Wireless capability won't turn on

Make sure you Press and Hold the FN function key then hit the F2 key.

Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look on both sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.

Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can toggle the wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function key located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will display Wireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

Some laptops might have a wireless button instead of a wireless switch located above the keyboard or on the front or sides.

Can't access gateway 450rog wireless! Is there a toggle? Do I need to install a driver?

Yes, the wireless adapter needs a driver, but unless you deleted it, that is not the problem
The wireless function can be turned on and off by a Fn and special function key combo. Some laptops even have a switch on the front of the palm rest that turns the wireless on.
Once the wireless function has been turned on, you will be able to see networks in the area.

My Toshiba satellite A305 model wireless not detecting any networks

First be sure your wireless is turned on. This is done either by a switch on the front or side of the computer or by a combo keystroke of Fn and one of the special function keys that has a picture of an antenna on it.
If you are sure your wireless is on, then make sure that there are wireless networks to detect. If you have the wireless router be sure that the wireless function is turned on and the SSID is being broadcasted.
