If you haven't done it already, load Service Pack 3 along with the Windows updates. That will stop that.
SP3 is no longer available from Microsoft as it does not support XP anymore. Beware of where you download SP3 from, make sure you have a proper anti virus programme installed!

How can I access on my computer the way to adjust the time that my display window stays open

Start, Control Panel, Appearance and Personalization, Personalization - Power saving setting. You can keep everything on always. Windows 8 will differ, but same thing - Display settings.
Then your screen will always stay on.

Everytime i start my computer.. there is always a window on the upper left that says: setting up personalized settings,Configuring Microsoft Windows Mail 7 in Vista?that is why i have to again reinstall...

Windows Mail is part of the windows live essentials update pack. If you do not use the features of this pack the easiest solution is to remove this update and not show it again. If you do that the Windows Mail configuration should no longer appear. If you do use the features of Windows Live essentials then just configuring the mail correctly should stop it from trying to configure every time you boot.

To remove the update: go to control panel>add or remove programs> on the left side look for view installed updates> click then click windows live essentials and uninstall at the top

Hope this helps

Seem my netbook window 7 hp 110-3000 dont have a desktop background why i cant set up my personal background why please help tq

If you are running Windows 7 Starter, you cannot change the desktop background as easily. There is a software utility to do this, available here:http://www.askvg.com/download-simple-patch-to-enable-aero-glass-and-all-other-personalization-features-in-windows-7-home-basic-and-starter-edition/

Follow those instructions, and you'll be able to change your desktop wallpaper the normal way.
If you aren't using Windows 7 Starter, or you used the patch that I linked you to, then right click on your Desktop, and then click on Personalize.

In Windows 7 or Vista, right-click on the desktop and choose (Personalize). Near the bottom of the screen you'll see desktop background and can choose any picture on your computer as a background.

Is there a way to change my computer settings so that insted of windows vista i would have windows xp or 2000

Hi, Bruce.

Unfortunately, it is not just a matter of changing your computer settings. The operating system would need to be installed, including your hardware drivers. Would be daunting for a novice and challenging for an experienced person, depending on the computer you have.

Hope this helps.
