Question about Philips Televison & Video
It sounds like the drawer assembly may be out of alignment...may be caused by shoving the door in instead of pressing the button to load the dvd....the timing of the drawer and the laser assembly is critical to the proper operation on most dvd's...another possibility is that if the unit has a belt drive for the door load components, the belt may be slipping enough to cause it to not fully load...It makes the player think that you never put a disk in it so it will keep ejecting because it never received a "full load" signal from the drawer components. You can take the cover off and watch the operation of this to see if it is loading all the way..if not then you will either need to have repaired or try to obtain the service literature yourself to re-align the gears to make it load properly
