Question about Computers & Internet
I want to be able to charge the laptop whilst travelling in the car. I have a LI SHIN international Enterprise corp charger. model :LSEC9901 input 11.5 - 16v ---6.8A. output 19v---3.16A 60W max. It is from my previous laptop. Is it suitable for the ACER
To see if it's compatible, you will need to read on the machine to find out the input range, or output on the charger. If the input/output levels are within 1 volt they are compatible.
Car chargers are expensive, around $125 to $185. You can get in inverter that plugs into a cigarette lighter that has two regular sockets from Walmart for around $20. The inverter is made by Black & Decker, you just plug the regular charger into it, and it's considerably cheaper than buying a car adapter. Make sure the inverter is 100 watt continuous.
This is for the US. If you're not in the US there are companies that make international inverters, however, with me being in the US I've never had the need for one, so I couldn't tell you what company exactly. You will have to Google it to find out.
