Lost sound in left channel?

I presume you are playing a stereo cd. Plug some other device, like headphones in to see if the computer is putting out stereo. Use the same plug as the speaker system is plugged into.
I presume you have swapped the speakers to test them.
If the speakers work, and the headphones work, it's the amp.

If you are sure that there is a sound that has been lost on your system how to reinstall it . You will have to Right click >> MY COMPUTER >>then click on PROPERTIES>>from there click on >>HARDWARE>>then click on the sound icon and click on the sound that has been installed before and right click it .>>>then click PROPERTIES>> from there click on ROLL BACK and you will see it going and going until fully installed back ... but if that doesnt work then download another sound driver from the internet ..that is compatible with your operating system.

I lost the input output wire to my surround sound for my computer

Contact the manufacturer of these speakers. Visit their website or find their phone number and request a replacement wire. I understand your frustration because the same thing happened to me. I have a Sony speaker system, and i lost the input output wire so all i did was called the company up and they sent me a replacement wire in the mail. It should not cost much at all. Any further questions, let me know so that i can resolve this issue for you.
