My I mate Jamin wouldn;t switch on I dont know why?

Possible problem here is that your battery has gone flat. If this is the casr it will not switch on, nor will it charge the battery if you connect it to a charger or usb port. This is because there is a circuit inside the phone which will not allow charging to commence unless there is a certain amount of charge left in the battery. A catch 22 situation. Cure is to either charge the battery on a stand alone charger if you have one, or fiddle the thing by putting some charge into the battery yourself. You can do this as follows.
Number the connectors on the battery 1 to 6 fromthe top, 2 is the positive, and 5 is the negative, now find youself a 4.5 to 5 volt supply and connect pos to pos and neg to neg. Hold them there for a minute or so, then measure the voltage on the battery terminals, you'll probably find somewhere near 3 volts. If so pop the battery back in the Jamin, and connect the charge/sync lead and it should start charging normally, then once charged all should be well.
If you don't feel confident to do this, borrow a battery to see if the phone works on a good one, then look at getting a stand alone charger from ebay.
The above worked fine for me, but I accept no responsibility if you screw up your battery, if in doubt DON'T do it.
Hope that helps.

Motorola A1200 cell phone battery will not charge with AC chargers

HI,

If your phone is still under warranty the best solution is to get it replaced. The problem is actually with the port of the charger.I mean the hole in which you plug in your charger isn't working properly.Where as your USB port is different and works properly so it charges the battery. So you will have to get this repaired.

I have the makita 18v cordless drill and can not get the bit out. It was hand tightened but seems locked.

Just hold the Black part of the makita, I understand that its an 18v drill, and it has way more torque than a 12V but just hold on to it as hard as you can while you give it some power. You should be able to get your bit out. Once it gets loosened up a little its easy after that. good luck and let me know how that turns out. The Black part should be wanting to spin towards the left. Just hold that in place. Adjust your drill to the lowest speed. Good luck and let me know if this helps

I Have a Black&Decker cordless drill. VersaPak. It is a few years old but hardly used. I charge the batteries overnight but don't get enough power to drill all of the screw down....

Thanks anyway but I feel I shouldn't have to pay to find out what is wrong with a product that I purchased from you. In the future I will stay away from your brand name. Martha

Cannot power on...

How to correct iPAQ 5450, 5455, 5550, 5555 battery charging problems / dead unit syndrome.

The iPAQ 54xx or 55xx will not power on if the batteries charge is lower than 3.2 Volts, if your battery charge falls below the 3.2 volts level your unit will not turn on, you need to plug the iPAQ into a cradle or AC charge adaptor. Note the charging light on the iPAQ will not flash at all (normally flashes orange) until the battery charge has reached a minimum charge level of 3.2 volts. You then need to perform a normal reset, then the unit should switch on normally.

HP Procedure is as follows:

To charge and reset the iPAQ Pocket PC h5400:

i) Connect the iPAQ Pocket PC h5400 to an A/C power supply.
ii) Charge the battery to the minimum level of 3.2 Volts. This will take 5 to 30 minutes depending on the current charge level.
iii) Perform a normal reset.
iv) Power on the iPAQ Pocket PC h5400

It is recommended that you keep the iPAQ Pocket PC connected to the Universal Cradle or Cable when it is not in use.
