Question about Dell Studio Slim-Tower Desktop Computer

Generally a no post, since the system will not stay on, you simplify the system configuration by removing all external connections except power, then see if the system will stay on. If it does, add items back one at a time till you ID the issue.
If no change with external items disconnected, then issue is internal. remove any expansion cards and try again, if issue resolved, the add one at a time to isolate fault. If still no go, try ram modules individually. if still no go, disconnect power to all drives, see if system will stay running with drives disconnected. if still no go, then it is either the power supply or the motherboard. replace the power supply 1st since it is cheapest to replace
