Question about GE Profile 26.6 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Dispenser TFX27PRBWW
Any type of Ice is not coming out when you push on the dispense lever. You only hear lots of noise. Lots of clumps of ice getting stuck out side the ice maker and makes it difficult to open the freezer door. However, inside the ice maker is plenty of ice.
Too much ice, maybe the ice maker didn't connect right, the gears moves but the spring inside the ice maker won't move.

I see this a lot with people who mainly used crushed ice. It will leave small pieces of ice behind and add up to a clogged situation. If you mainly used crushed ice you will need to run full cubes thru every so often to keep the chute clear. Another cause of this would be the flapper door on the dispenser doesn't close completely and warm air gets in and melts the ice in the bin so it clumps together and won't dispense. In this case you may need to replace the solenoid that shuts the door and/or the door. Let me know what you find.
