the fan does not run, but the light does come on. this unit is only 4 years old and gets light use. Is there a reset somewhere? I have tried unplugging and plugging back in with the unit on and off.

Usually when coolers freezers and refrigerators stop cooling it usually is as a result of a couple of issues mainly all of these issues affect the gas in the unit compressor.
Usually if the unit is just moved around it requires some time to settle down. In other cases the gas in the compressor might have leaked out of the unit and therefore the unit will refuse to cool.
If the unit lights up and every other thing seems to function fine all you have to do is get a repair technician to help fill up the gas in the unit.
Also tell them to ensure to check for holes and block them otherwise the unit will start misbehaving again in a short while.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

I have one like this as well its works the fan runs but it doesnt cool unless i put a frozen bottle of water in ,could be a thermostat or the compressor motor ,could even have just lost the gas through a solder joint somewhere ,you will have to take it apart first to determine the cause and then if its economicaly viable to have it repaired ,check the thermostat is working first thouigh if anything more bin it as these are not expensive to replace ,90 euros for a small one and just under 200 for a bigger one ,but the best ones that run for ever and a day are the ex coca cola or pepsi ones if you can find a second hand one from the companys that supply and maintain these machines for the drinks companies .

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Although I severely doubt the mouse will give you an electrical shock I would suggest a new one as they are cheaper than a repair would be.

Frig stopped cooling, unplugged & replugging worked - now what?

hi try out the following settings....
Check your temperature setting.
- Check if no ice present in the evaporator, try the defrosting
- Check vents if air is present if no then check your blower if running or icing evaporator.
- Check your vents if not obstructed with stocks, or the unit is not overloaded with stocks.
- Check if compressor is running continues, if not then you need a qualified technician.

i think after checking this it will work out for u.!!!

Monitor Display

Try using a different monitor, although it doesn't seem like that's the issue. If the new monitor gives you the same problem it could be your video card.
