Question about Maytag MZD2766GES Side by Side Refrigerator
Well if this just started you will most likely find within the next 24 hours the freezer will stop also...the unit actually cools from the freezer side first and then the air is pushed over into the fresh food side or refrigerator side as you are calling it... few things you want to check... first there is a opening between the two sides make sure that it is clear and if has an eelctronic damper it is opening if it is warming up in refrig it should be wide open at current time. 2nd if that is good make sure you have no frost on the back wall of the freezer wall and that the fan in the freezer is working . you may have to hold the door switch closed will listening... the fan in the freezer should be running and there should be no frost on the back wall... if there is frost then maybe you have a defrost problem which could be a heater,a defrost thermostat or a timer problem... if there is no frost make sure the compressor is running and you here no clickin coming from compressor .. hope this helps check them items and if you need anymore help post again....
